  Upon the lunch hour and my tummy tells me this is the place to go based upon previous visit.
  
  The bartender/waitress Holly H. was incredible from the get go! Her welcoming spirit gave me a taste of true Aloha to this american cuisine.
  
  Timely got our appetizers, food and mostly my and my mom's BAHAMA MAMA ('ono to the bottom)
  
  I would give this restaurant a ten star if I could because every visit has been the highlight of my day. Especially today!

  Just 1 star... because the server was nice. We ordered the 2 for whatever. The ribs and the penne pasta with prime rib. The order went in, and it took a good 15-20 mins. for them to notify us that they didn't have some of the ingredients ti make it. So they offered us a free appetizer and I chose another dish.
  They said they didn't have something else so if I wanted itn they would give me another sauce. I ordered the steak instead.
  5 mins. pass, and theysaid they can't offer us a free appetizer. Then, the steak I ordered came. The ribs were good. The steak had no taste.
  My son didn't like the cheese pizza. My other did not like the corn dog.
  We won't be coming back...

  What a shame.  My coworkers and I (4 in total) went to Applebees Kapolei for happy hour on Friday 6/24 at around 4pm and the service was terrible.
  
  Walked in and was told by a waitress it was okay to sit at the bar and someone would help us.  So we sat at a table in the bar section, looked over the menu briefly and then we waited...and waited...and waited.  We could see the bartender glancing over at us, but when he stayed behind the bar, we assumed that there was an actual waitress assigned to our area.  There was an older Polynesian woman who we assumed was the manager running food and giving directions to the staff; after waiting for so long, we tried to catch her attention (several times) as she brushed past us but to no avail.  Finally after roughly 15 mins had passed since we sat ourselves, she called over to the bartender to handle our table.  
  
  The bartender, Jake, was very friendly, took our orders and delivered our drinks promptly...and then never came back, even though we mentioned that we wanted to order pupus.  We were baffled but figured maybe he was just busy.  But after finishing our drinks and watching him continue to ignore us, it became obvious that he wasn't planning on returning to check in.
  
  Yes, we could've just gone up to the bar to get his attention, but frankly, we were just disappointed over the blatant lack of service at that point.  The bar was 1/2 full and we were CLEARLY in his line of vision where he could see our empty beer glasses.  While Jake was very friendly in our initial encounter, we were left feeling like the staff had deemed that we weren't worthy of being waited on.
  
  To make matters worse, when we did finally get Jake's attention to bring us the the bill, we discovered that he had charged us full price for our beers instead of the happy hour prices.  We didn't even bother to dispute it, we were just eager to leave and spend our Pau Hana Friday money elsewhere.
  
  If this is how the staff treats customers when the restaurant is empty, i can't imagine how they act when they're full.

  If you're in Kapolei and want to watch football on sundays then Applebee's is the place to go! All kinds of beer, on tap, can or bottle and a good breakfast and appetizers menu! The wait staff is fantastic! Never had to go get my own beer they were always there to ask if I needed anything! Big screen TVs have all the games and the people watching are friendly, loud and passionate! Great football atmosphere!!!

  I love coming to Applebee's especially when Lisa is working. She has really great customer service and very helpful and so kind, she always makes sure that we are taken care of and makes us feel comfortable.
